The 240 acre facility was purchased in 2001 and is nestled in the Virginia Mountain range located in North Western Nevada. SGI's goal is to build and develop one of the most practical, up to date and state of the art training facilities in the world.

The facility is being built in three phases with an estimated cost of approx. $4.5 million dollars. Construction on the first phase began in August of 2001 and was completed in 2004.

July 2011 the facility consists of Three (3) independent training areas with six (6) Law Enforcement and Military shooting ranges to include a three thousand (3,000) square foot multi level shooting house with stairwells, an eight hundred (800) square foot shooting house and four (4) civilian shooting ranges.

In addition there will be two (2) classrooms, restroom facilities and berthing accommodations for 32 students, gear storage and pro-shop.

Training amenities include a variety of known distance ranges with high angle elevations, rappel tower, helicopter landing zone, armory and cleaning facility.

Coming in 2011 - 2012 SGI is building a thirteen (13) building tactical city, various tactical mockups to include airplane, railroad cars and busses, a driving track and Haz Mat training area.

SGI has future plans for a six thousand (6,000) square foot fully ballistic shooting house with multiple levels.
